FIAP Blue Badge Awards
FIAP Blue Badge for Best Author of an Exhibition
FIAP exhibitions award a FIAP Blue Badge to the best author of an exhibition. These are extremely difficult to obtain as only one person per exhibition can be awarded one, normally out of 1000s of entries. It was my goal to win one of these prestigious awards, which was quite a challenge as I felt my nature and travel images, which are often required was not as strong as my open, creative and mono images. Below are the images that got accepted into the exhibitions that accumulated enough points and awards to achieved the award.
2014 - 5th Luxembourg FIAP Blue Badge Award Winner for Best Exhibition Author
An usual exhibition for a blue badge award as the competition is judged from just four images of any genre.
2014 - 4th The Golden Digital in Denmark FIAP Blue Badge Award Winner for Best Exhibition Author
From 513 authors with 3853 images across 56 counties, I was graciously awarded the best author of the exhibition. Along with four medals and two certificates.
2014 - Howrah Colour Salon - FIAP Blue Badge Award Winner for Best Exhibition Author
This was a surprise award when it came through the letter box. An accepted selection that includes two nature!
2013 - Holland Circuit - 7th Rainbow Challenge Rijen Exhibition FIAP Blue Badge Award Winner for Best Exhibition Author
The Holland Circuit is quite a prestigious exhibition and they present all the award winners in a beautiful book. I was awarded several gold medals at this salon in addition to the blue badge for one of the exhibitions in the circuit.
2013 - Smethwick Exhibition FIAP Blue Badge Award Winner for Best Exhibition Author
Being the first blue badge I have ever won, I dedicated this award to my best friend Maurice Jones, a former club member who sadly passed away at the end of 2013. He mentored me in so many different ways and touched the lives of many.
